Treatment may use injections, creams, oral medication or patches. Shaperz does not offer hormone pellets.
Lab-informed follow-up
Initial labs are $175 and women's follow-up labs are $100, with timing based on your protocol.
Month-to-month care
The Balance Protocol is $150 to $200 per month with no long-term commitment, with Core and Complete tiers.
Who this care is for
Perimenopause can begin before periods stop, and symptoms do not always arrive in a predictable order. Some women notice disrupted sleep or temperature changes first. Others notice low energy, mood changes, brain fog, body composition changes, vaginal dryness or lower interest in intimacy.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. A hormone visit is not built around assuming every concern is hormonal. Your provider reviews your history, symptoms, medications and labs together, then discusses whether hormone therapy or another next step is appropriate.
- Women navigating perimenopause or menopause
- Women seeking a lab-informed explanation for changing symptoms
- Women who want ongoing access to a consistent clinical team
How treatment is personalized
Shaperz prescribes bioidentical hormone therapy as injections, creams, oral medication or patches. Pellets are not offered. The recommended form depends on your symptoms, history, lab findings, preferences and the provider's assessment.
Treatment is individualized rather than selected from a standard package. The goal is to use the information available, discuss benefits and risks clearly and make decisions with you. Enrollment in a program does not guarantee a prescription, and a specific response cannot be promised.
- Injections when appropriate
- Creams or oral medication when appropriate
- Patches when appropriate
- No hormone pellets
What your first visit looks like
Your first step is a comprehensive conversation. Bring a list of medications and supplements, information about your menstrual history, recent imaging or screening records when relevant and any labs you already have. Your provider will explain which information is needed before treatment can begin.
Initial women's hormone labs are $175. Labs may be drawn in the Shaperz office or at Labcorp. The results create a baseline that can be considered alongside your symptoms and health history. A lab value by itself does not decide your treatment.
- Detailed symptom and health-history review
- Initial labs at $175
- Labs drawn in office or at Labcorp
- Clear review of treatment choices and monitoring
The Balance Protocol
The Balance Protocol is the Shaperz women's bioidentical hormone replacement program. It begins with a $250 comprehensive evaluation, and initial women's hormone labs are $175. If you are a candidate, you choose between two month-to-month tiers with no long-term commitment.
The Core tier is $150 per month. An estradiol patch and progesterone are sent to your retail pharmacy on your insurance, and testosterone, when prescribed, is supplied by the practice and included. Enrollment is $200, which covers your first month plus a $50 deposit. Pharmacy copays and deductibles are your responsibility.
The Complete tier is $200 per month. All prescribed hormones are supplied through our compounding pharmacy partner and shipped directly to your home with any needed supplies. Enrollment is $250, which covers your first month plus a $50 deposit.
Both tiers include priority VIP scheduling, provider-managed bioidentical hormone therapy, monthly ShapeScale 3D body composition scans, a Skin IQ analysis every 6 months and 15% off professional supplements, laser hair removal, facials and skincare products. Review the Balance Protocol page and written agreement for complete details before enrolling.
- $250 initial evaluation with $175 initial labs
- Core tier $150 per month, $200 at enrollment
- Complete tier $200 per month, $250 at enrollment
- Month-to-month with no long-term commitment
- ShapeScale scans, Skin IQ analysis and member savings included
Follow-up labs and ongoing care
Women's follow-up labs are $100. Timing is scheduled around your protocol, including after starting or changing treatment and as your plan becomes stable. The provider considers both how you feel and what the follow-up information shows.
Tell the team about new symptoms, medication changes, bleeding concerns, pregnancy plans or changes in your health. Hormone therapy requires ongoing communication and may be adjusted, paused or stopped when the clinical picture changes.
- Women's follow-up labs at $100
- Monitoring scheduled around your protocol
- Dose and delivery decisions reviewed over time
Safety and candidacy
Hormone therapy is prescription medical care and has potential benefits and risks. Screening needs vary by person. Your provider may request current health records or recommend follow-up with another clinician when a concern falls outside the scope of the visit.
Do not use another person's medication or adjust a prescription without guidance. Seek urgent care for urgent symptoms. The educational information on this page cannot determine whether hormone therapy is safe for you.
- Accurate history and medication review
- Age-appropriate screening and records when required
- Ongoing reporting of symptoms and health changes
Why women choose Shaperz
Shaperz combines nearly 30 years of clinical experience with a warm, culturally competent approach. Women are invited to describe what has changed in their own words and to ask direct questions about options, costs and follow-up.
The Balance Protocol page outlines the women's program in more detail, including the Core and Complete tiers. The Labs page explains testing options, and the Men's Hormone Therapy page covers care for men.
