After Your Body Contouring Treatment
Your post-care instructions will depend on the type of body contouring treatment performed and your customized treatment plan.
Compression may be recommended depending on the treatment performed. If instructed, compression may be worn for up to 6 weeks post-treatment.
Lymphatic drainage may be recommended depending on your treatment plan. Your provider will give you specific instructions regarding timing and frequency.
Mild soreness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, tightness or redness may occur depending on the treatment performed. Results are gradual and may continue to improve over time depending on the service, treatment area and consistency with post-care.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does non-surgical body contouring actually work?
Yes, with realistic expectations. Treatments like LipoDissolve, cavitation and RF tightening reduce stubborn pockets of fat and firm skin gradually over a series of sessions. They are not a substitute for weight loss, which is why many of our patients pair contouring with our medical weight loss program.
How many body contouring sessions will I need?
Most treatment plans run six to ten sessions depending on the area and your goals. We map out your full plan and pricing at your consultation so there are no surprises.
Is body contouring painful?
Radiofrequency skin tightening and Elite Sculpt are generally comfortable, with most patients feeling warmth or muscle contractions. LipoDissolve involves small injections and mild soreness afterward, similar to a workout, that resolves within a few days.
Consultations at Shaperz Wellness
A complimentary phone consultation is available for every service. In-office consultations are $50 and that fee is applied to your treatment cost when treatment is completed within one month of your assessment. For injectables, we recommend an in-office assessment for the most accurate estimate of the treatment you will need.
Late Cancellation or No-Show Fee: $50
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice will be charged a $50 fee.
