Before and After Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening can help brighten the appearance of your smile by reducing the look of surface stains and discoloration.
For best results, avoid strongly staining foods and drinks immediately after whitening, including coffee, tea, red wine, dark sauces, berries and tobacco products.
Temporary tooth sensitivity may occur and usually improves on its own.
Pre-Care Reminders
Please brush before your appointment. Avoid whitening if you have active mouth sores, untreated dental concerns, severe tooth sensitivity or recent dental procedures unless cleared by your dentist.
Post-Care Reminders
For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid dark-colored foods and drinks that may stain the teeth. Use a straw when appropriate and maintain good oral hygiene.
We'll share written instructions for before and after your teeth whitening treatment ahead of your appointment.
