GLP-1 Weight Loss in Chicago, With a Plan Built Around You

GLP-1 care is not simply a prescription. At Shaperz, it begins with a conversation about your health, your weight history and what has made progress difficult. Lynn St. Victor-Luckett, MSN, APRN-FPA, FNP-BC, MLD-C leads your clinical plan and follows your progress over time.

    Start by phone

A free phone consultation helps you understand whether the program may fit. No prescribing happens during that call.

    Provider-led care

Your history, labs, medication options and follow-up plan are reviewed by a nurse practitioner.

    Support that changes with you

New patients receive weekly check-ins until comfortable with the plan, followed by monthly evaluations.

    Who this program is for

This program is for adults who want medical support for weight management after diets, tracking apps or short-term plans have not given them a sustainable path. It may also be appropriate when appetite, metabolic health, medications, hormones or daily routines are affecting progress.

A GLP-1 medication is not right for everyone. Your medical history, current medications, symptoms, previous treatment and lab information all matter. The goal of your evaluation is to decide whether medication is clinically appropriate and to build a plan you understand. Medication is never guaranteed before that evaluation.

    • People seeking a supervised option rather than another self-directed diet
    • People willing to attend follow-up visits and report side effects or changes
    • People who want nutrition, movement and progress support alongside medication

    How semaglutide and tirzepatide fit

Shaperz offers both brand-name and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide when clinically appropriate. These medications work through pathways involved in appetite and blood sugar regulation. Your provider explains the available options, expected follow-up and potential side effects before you decide whether to begin.

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for individual patients. They are not FDA-approved and are not presented as equivalent to a brand-name product. Availability and the best option for you can depend on your clinical needs, prescription access and the provider's assessment.

    • No program or medication price is promised before evaluation
    • Dosing decisions are made by the prescribing provider
    • Report side effects, medication changes and health changes promptly

What your first visits look like

Begin with a complimentary phone consultation. This short call is designed to hear what you are looking for and explain the next step. It is not a medical visit and no medication is prescribed on the call.

The in-person initial consultation is $125 and requires a $50 deposit, which is credited toward the $125. During the appointment, the team reviews your health and weight history, discusses relevant labs and develops recommendations based on your goals and clinical picture. You may also receive a ShapeScale assessment to help document changes that a standard scale may miss.

    • Bring a current medication list and recent labs if available
    • Be ready to discuss previous weight-loss efforts and reactions to medication
    • Ask questions about benefits, limitations, side effects and follow-up

    Labs, nutrition and movement

Lab needs are evaluated case by case. Recent results may be useful, or labs may be drawn through Shaperz when needed. Labs can be paid cash or billed to insurance when covered. Coverage and any patient responsibility are determined by the lab and your plan.

Nutrition guidance is part of care. Personalized meal plans are available as an add-on for clients who want more structure. Shaperz also shares home and gym exercise guides. These resources support your medical plan, but they do not replace individualized training or advice from a provider who knows your physical limitations.

    • Lab review based on your history and treatment plan
    • Personalized meal plans available as an add-on
    • Home and gym exercise guides shared as practical resources

    Monitoring, safety and long-term care

New patients receive weekly check-ins until they feel comfortable with the plan. After that early period, monthly evaluations provide time to review progress, tolerability and next steps. Changes are made according to your response rather than an automatic schedule.

Medical weight loss requires honest communication. Tell the team about new symptoms, medication changes, pregnancy plans or a significant change in your health. If medication is not appropriate, the consultation can still help identify other supportive options. Results vary, and no medication can guarantee a specific amount or pace of weight loss.

    • Weekly check-ins early in care
    • Monthly evaluations after you are comfortable
    • A maintenance conversation as goals and needs change

    Why patients choose Shaperz
